In Inquique, Chile, the Copa Sudamericana Sub-17 continued today with Brazil taking another step toward a place in the tournament's final round with a 3-0 win against Peru that gave them six points in two games. Bolivia also put itself in a good position to advance as a 1-0 win against Paraguay gave them four points through two games.
Group A continues on Wednesday. Here is how South American qualifying breaks down:
Two groups of five teams play a round robin. Then top three teams from each group all play each other. Then the top FOUR out of those six qualify for the World Cup. Got it? Good!
Group B continues on Tuesday with Chile facing Argentina and Venezuela takes on Ecuador.
