UEFA U-17 Championship Preparations

As the U.S. U-17 MNT continues preparation for the CONCACAF U-17 Championship, the buzz in Europe for their regional competition is growing ahead of the final draw, which is set for Friday, April 3.

The tournament itself will take place from May 6-18 and according to UEFA, over 16,000 tickets for the U-17 final in Germany have already been sold! The eight teams in the final round are: host Germany, 2007 winners Spain, England, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey and Switzerland.

Six of those eight will move on to represent Europe at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup later this year.
