What do you do at the team hotel in New Zealand when you have a lot of down time? Make your own t-shirts of course. The U.S. players brought the proper supplies to New Zealand to make custom t-shirts, many with inspirational words or sayings. While it was a bit of a messy process (Kate Bennett looked sort of like Issac Medenz from Heroes, minus the creepy white eyes and ability to paint the future, meaning she was covered with paint), some of the players are quite talented t-shirt artists, which we think has to be a positive for numerous high school social events that may require a cool themed t-shirt.
