T & T vs. Netherlands Antilles

The evening before their first match of the qualifying tournament, the U.S. U-17 WNT was able to see first-hand FIFA protocol playing out. Trinidad & Tobago faced off against the Netherlands Antilles at Marvin Lee Stadium, and the U.S. U-17 Women were able to watch the first half of the match.

CONCACAF set aside a special section for the U.S. team, who were thus unable to meander about the stadium and make a few fans before their game tomorrow. But, luckily, they were able to hear the enthusiastic fans with steel drums, who kept the rhythm going throughout the entire first half. The YNT blog did secure a video with sounds of the drummers and will post it ASAP so you can all enjoy the sounds of Marvin Lee Stadium as much as the team did.
